Amanda and Nicholas were married on July 8th with a brunch ceremony at The Bee and Thistle Inn. The couple decided to have an intimate ceremony for their elderly family who couldn’t make it to Aruba to where there full wedding day was going to take place the following Sunday.
Amanda and Nicholas are too of the most thoughtful and genuine people I have ever had the pleasure to photograph. Amanda had her mom’s veil made into a veil and headpiece handcrafted by the talented Andria Bird based out of Mystic, CT. On the wedding day, she surprised her mom and sister with a bracelet as well as a boutonnière for her dad made from using her mom’s veil. That was a very special moment for the family and theree were tears and hugs shared freely.
The intimate ceremony took place down by the water on a sunny Sunday morning at Bee and Thistle Inn. The couple decided they wanted to have a ring blessing ceremony and passed the family ring around to everyone of their guests. They both stood and watched teary eyed as all of their closest loved ones passed around the rings and shared their blessings. The whole ceremony was truly beautiful to witness and it was an honor to capture those special moments.
Amanda and Nicholas, thank you for sharing all of your heart with me on your wedding day. You two fit together like two peas in a pod and I am so very excited to see where your adventure takes you!
xx,
Amma
