Jeremy and Danielle were married on July 28th with a ceremony and reception at the Haley Mansion at the Inn of Mystic.
From the bride – Their love story began through Jeremy’s first love, golf. Danielle worked the bar, a cozy little nook named ” The Caddy Shack,” located in the heart of the rolling greens of the Norwich Public Golf Course. Jeremy, a regular participant of the 19th hole, was also a regular participant during Danielle’s bar shifts. Jeremy started visiting ever shift she worked and it soon became evident that Jeremy wasn’t just coming in for the outstanding cocktails. Through their many nights at the Shack, they began to learn a lot about each other and became close friends. Interactions spread outside of the bar and into their personal lives. It didn’t take long before their relationship developed into something much deeper. They were hooked and officially started dating.
On May 12th, 2017, Jeremy proposed to Danielle. Just like any normal weekend night, they headed to one of their favorite restaurants, “NuNu’s” When they got to their table, it was a beautifully decorated with flowers and candles and the perfect setting for Jeremy to get down on one knee and ask Danielle to marry him. With the fellow dining guests waiting in anticipation, Danielle said yes with open arms! The restaurant erupted with cheers and clapping for the couple who could hardly contain their emotions. Jeremy then lead his new fiance hand in hand through the charming restaurant and opened two double doors into a private room which was filled with Danielle’s one wish since childhood, their family was there! It was the icing on the cake and the most meaningful of gestures.
Their wedding day was a hot summer day with the perfect amount of cloud coverage. The Inn at Mystic’s Haley Mansion is exquisite and has sprawling water views overlooking the Long Island Sound. The Mansion sits on top of a hill and is surrounded by magnificent gardens, a waterfall and a water lily pond. I started off the day hanging with Danielle and the girls while my second photographer, Jessica, met the guys in downtown Mystic. We met right in front of the mansion for the first look, where they both got to see each-other for the first time and calm their nerves before walking down the aisle.
All the family and friends that joined these two brought the best energy and really contributed to how fantastic the whole day was. We photographed their closest friends and family before setting up for the outdoor ceremony overlooking the water. One of my favorite parts of the day was when Danielle and her father walked down the hill to the ceremony while the song, Young and Beautiful, was playing and it really created the most epic entrance I have ever seen!
The celebrations continued into the evening with speeches and one of the sweetest first dances to the song Green Eyes by Coldplay. ( These two were spot on with their music selection! ) Everyone joined the newlyweds in twisting the night away celebrating a perfect day.
Danielle and Jeremy, thanks for sharing such an intimate part of your heart with me. I was honored to walk beside you on your wedding day and I am so looking forward to see what the future holds for you! I wish you all the love + blessings towards a wonderful marriage.
xx,
Amma
