Branford House // Chelsie + Timothy Engagement Session

Engagements

I met these two lovebirds at Avery Point in Groton, Connecticut for their engagement session on a sunny and chilly February day. Chelsie and Timothy first met on a blind date at a baseball game. Chelsie is a teacher in Charleston, South Carolina and Timothy is in the Navy stationed out of Groton.

Two weeks prior to the engagement session, Timothy proposed in NYC and they were still so giddy with love and excitement. Chelsie explained the story of the proposal with a big ol’ smile on her face.

” It was my birthday weekend and we went to NYC (one of my favorite places). My fiancé Tim took me to see Wicked for the first time (I had tried to see it three times previously and each time it fell through). It was super special to me. Before dinner we were discussing how great the weekend had been and I was telling him just how loved he made me feel, he took the opportunity, popped the question and I said YES! ”

We walked around Avery Point and exchanged stories like old friends while the setting sun lit up the sky. Chelsie and Timothy fit perfectly together and could be easily mistaken for a couple who has known each other a lifetime. I am so grateful to have spent time with them and to have shared in their love story.
