A Hoboken engagement session is one of our favorite locations to shoot. The rich history including cobblestone streets and waterfront Manhattan views make it a perfect photoshoot session.
We started on Court Street, walked to some Hoboken Parks and then ended at Pier A Park. Court Street is a back alley with old cobblestones and quaint front doors painted an arrays of colors. Pier A Park and Frank Sinatra Park are right on the water and have stunning views of Manhattan.
Hoboken has a rich history of beauty
The small city of Hoboken, New Jersey, is often referred to as the “Mile Square City.” Situated across the Hudson River from Manhattan with magnificent city views. The first brewery in American in (1642) was built there. The entertainer Frank Sinatra was born in Hoboken and the film On the Waterfront, starring Marlo Brando was filmed by the city’s piers.
Hoboken was named the hipster capital of the world by FindtheBest.com. Cities that had to have populations of 50,000 or more, people between the ages of 20 and 34, and a a lot of residents with bachelor’s degrees. The site determined final scores by adding up the number of coffee shops and yoga studios.
We love wandering around the New Jersey neighborhood of Hoboken and scouting out new places for an engagement session. We will always come back to Hoboken for a photoshoot location! Front stoops, bright colored doors and scenic city sites are a perfect backdrop. Consider adding Hoboken to your location ideas for your engagement photoshoot!
