Keegan and Tim were married on October 5th with a ceremony and reception at The Preston Ridge Vineyard.
Their love story told by the bride –
“We met in May of 2012, on our first day as law clerks at the Connecticut Appellate Court in Hartford. We had a great group of coworkers and all became friends, but it wasn’t until April 2013 that Tim finally got up the nerve to ask me out on our first official date. We had the best homemade pasta dinner at one of Tim’s favorite restaurants in Waterbury, and even though he let me split the bill (at my insistence!), the rest is history. In the past six years we’ve shared ups, downs, sports victories and losses, lots of weddings, amazing trips, and countless adventures. We’re looking forward to continuing our lives together, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you! ”
You never know what October weather will be like but on their wedding day, it was gorgeous and sunny without a cloud in sight. Keegan and Tim got ready at The Whalers Inn and then shared a first look on the boardwalk near the mystic drawbridge. We watched the historic drawbridge go up and down and then hopped on the trolly to head to the vineyard.
The ceremony was short and sweet surrounded by loved ones and rows of heavy vines. They exchanged vows while the sun was setting over the horizon which creating a magical setting. The guests then enjoyed cocktail hour on the deck as the sun went down in celebration of the newlyweds.
Keegan and Tim, it was my absolute joy to be able to join you two on this oh-so-special day! Please never stop laughing together, the joy you share is incredible. I am so excited to see where your next adventures take you.
Congratulation to Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the newlyweds!
