Megan and Tim were married on September 28th with a ceremony and a reception at The Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY.
They met at work and bonded after a hard shift. They started emailing each other to stay in contact, went out for drinks together after work, and that was it for Tim. Tim knew immediately that she was the one, and they began dating and shortly after, Megan was also hooked.
Their relationship grew and evolved into so much more. Megan loved how warm and happy a person Tim is and how infectious his energy is. While visiting Acadia National Park for Megan’s birthday, Tim popped the question during a sunrise hike to the top of Cadillac Mountain.
Their wedding day was a gorgeous summer-meets-fall kind of day at the end of September. I started the wedding preparations with the ladies at the cabin down the street from the venue. The couple chose the resort because they wanted a place where everyone could come stay for the whole weekend and get to know each other.
Full Moon Resort is located in the heart of the “Forever Wild” Catskill Forest in Upstate New York. Over one hundred acres of fields, meadows, forests and streams provided a natural backdrop for Tim and Megan’s celebration.
Megan and Tim shared their vows in front of all of their closest friends and family. They smiled, laughed and teared up before their first kiss as husband and wife and then walked down the aisle as guests threw confetti in celebration of the newlyweds.
After the ceremony, the guests headed to the barn for cocktails and laughs during sunset. Cocktail hour was followed by a first dance and then a hora which brought everyone together. The group danced the night away in the middle of the forest and it was a truly magical time.
Meg and Tim, I absolutely loved all of my time with you from our NYC engagement to your wedding in Big Indian, NY. It was an honor to witness the way you both look at each other, which is truly inspirational. The love you have for each other can move mountains and it sure did that night!
All my love for the newlyweds!
