Caitlin and Stephen were married on September 22nd, with a ceremony and reception at Latitude 41 in Mystic, Connecticut. These two met at school and the first night they hung out Caitlin challenged Stephen to a Mario Kart race, thinking he would let her win. Not only did he not let her win, he crushed her! They were inseparable ever since…
When Stephen realized Caitlin was the one, he planned the engagement. After a day adventuring around Boston, they went to dinner in the North End. As they walked back to the hotel, it began to rain. Stephen wanted to walk by the water and Caitlin just wanted to get out of the rain! Stephen rolled with the change of plans and proposed at the hotel. Caitlin was in complete shock and lots of tears were shed.
On the day of the wedding, my second shooter, Mimi, and I met Caitlin and Stephen in Mystic where they were getting ready. To my surprise, while I was shooting details, Caitlin and her ladies started listening to a mediation recording. They all sat around, closed their eyes and breathed peace and love into their day. WHAT A WAY TO START A WEDDING!!! I think every bride should follow Caitlin’s lead here!
The ceremony itself was filled with incredibly personal touches. Caitlin’s mom, Mary, worked very hard on all the beautiful decor! The flowers that were scattered throughout the ceremony were absolutely stunning! Of course the Mystic River made for the perfect backdrop also.
Caitlin and Stephen, thank for for inviting my into your heart and sharing your love with me. The family and friends surrounding you are truly the best which represents how amazing you are. Cheers to your incredible future together!
